ShiaJamaat is a community-driven Islamic organisation based in Birmingham, UK. References to "we", "us", or "ShiaJamaat" in this policy refer to the organisation operating this website.

We collect information you provide directly when submitting applications or enquiries through our service forms. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, date of birth, and details relevant to the service you have requested. For Talaaq and Mediation services, we may also collect details about the other party to the proceedings where provided by you.

Information you provide is used solely for the purpose of delivering the service you have requested. We do not use your information for marketing, sell it to third parties, or share it with any organisation outside ShiaJamaat except where necessary to deliver your service (for example, sharing your details with a registered Alim who will conduct your Nikaah).

4. The Islamic Will Generator

The Islamic Will Generator at shiajamaat.com/islamicwill4/ is specifically designed not to store your data. No personal information, assets, or will content entered into the generator is stored on our servers. Your completed will is generated and emailed to you, and no copy is retained by us.

Application and case records are retained for a reasonable period to enable us to answer queries about completed cases. Records relating to ongoing cases are retained for as long as the case is open. We do not retain personal data beyond what is necessary for these purposes.
