How we handle your information — in plain English
Last updated: 30 May 2026
The Islamic Will Generator is designed from the ground up with one guiding principle: we do not store any of your personal information. This is not simply a policy — it is a technical reality of how this service works.
Personal data: None. We do not collect, store, log, or retain any of the following:
Your form answers exist only in your browser session for as long as you are completing the form. When you submit, the information is used to generate your Word document and send it to your email — then it is permanently deleted.
We collect anonymous, aggregate statistics only — to understand whether this service is being used and from which countries, so we can maintain and improve it.
What is recorded: the name of the country the will was submitted from (derived from your IP address at the moment of submission — the IP itself is not stored), and the month and year of submission. Nothing more. This data cannot be used to identify you in any way.
This service uses a temporary browser session to carry your form answers between the steps of the form. This session expires as soon as your browser is closed, or immediately after you submit. No tracking or marketing cookies are used.
Your completed will is emailed to you. Your email address is used solely to send you your document and is not retained after the email is sent. We do not use third-party email marketing services.
To determine the country of submission for anonymous statistics, your IP address is briefly looked up against a free geolocation service. This is a server-side lookup only — your IP address is never sent from your browser directly. Only the country name is retained; the IP address is discarded immediately.
Because we store no personal data, there is nothing to access, modify, or delete. If you have questions about this privacy policy, please contact us.
